The history of Pink Division

The Pink Division is a Pink Floyd Tributeband coming from Norway.
The band was formed  in -1996 by the four guys Arne, Hans,Ernst and Ivan.
The band has 6 members today, including two back up singers. They have   
    managed to create the magic Pink Floyd sound on stage, and both critics
           and press says that  Pink Floyd lovers are garanteed to be satisfied.

                    Further on, all the bandmembers have  several years of experience 
                        from different bands before they joined Pink Division, and with
                           high ambitions and the love of  the PF  music,  they started
                             rehearsing. Songs like "Comfortably numb" and "Time"
                               was  added to the reportoire, and to their and the audiences
                                surprise they came aware of  that their  sound was very
                                 much a like their musical idols. In time more songs
                                 where added to the reportoire, and the feedback they
                                 got from everyone who listened to them, was giving
                                them  a clue that they where on the right track.

                              The Artic Rock Festival  2001, they got their real
                             breaktrough in Bodø; Norway when they where asked
                          "warming up" for bands like : Osibiza, Nazareth, and
                       Mannfred Manns Earth Band.
